Embracing a healthy Relationship with ourselves
In our day to day life, each one of us is busy in our routines irrespective of the age. This modern lifestyle has made the life easier for everybody but has given rise to many other problems. Thyroid, PCOS, Depression, obesity and joint pains are a few common problems that we all face nowadays. So can we do something to avoid it? Of course, there is a solution for it. Yes, I know you'll know about fitness and health but how many of you maintain it? I would strongly recommend to try Intermittent fasting if it suits you.
What is Intermittent Fasting?
Intermittent fasting also known as intermittent energy restriction, is any of various meals timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting(or reduced calorie intake) and non fasting over a given period. Methods of intermittent fasting include alternate-day fasting, periodic fasting, and daily time-restricted feeding
How to do Intermittent fasting?
Here are the simple steps to follow for intermittent fasting:
- Try to have a light dinner at night at around 7 pm or before sunset. Don't eat anything after it.
- The time interval for fasting should be minimum 12 hours gap.
- If you are comfortable, you can even do it for more hours.
- Break your fast with the afternoon lunch. But the lunch should not be filled with sugar items, fast food and fatty foods.
